2020 Kentucky Derby Odds Ranking: Modernist On Top, Major Fed Is In

The 146th renewal of the “Run For The Roses,” which is the Kentucky Derby, is set to begin on September 5, 2020. For the first time since World War II, the event will not take place in May due to the COVID-19 pandemic happening all over the world. The news is confirmed by Bill Carstanjen, the CEO of Churchill Downs Inc., earlier this week.

Although it’s a bit disappointing that the Kentucky Derby is moved four months away from its usual date, this is to make sure that the organization abides by the security measures set by the government to avoid the spread of the virus. Also, you can visit TVG for more details on this horse race to be guided with the changes as the date is moved to September.

Since the Kentucky Derby will take place later this year, the horses will also have more time to prepare. Last weekend, we saw a few Kentucky Derby prep races that took place, causing a huge tilt in the current line up ranking. Hence, here is the latest odds ranking of the horses that are set to run in the Derby.
