This is the time of year Elmwood Village kicks into high gear encouraging Buffalo to support local retail and local artists. For over a decade the well organized Elmwood effort has been very successful competing with the malls and national chainstores that suck local dollars out of the community. One of the traditional events each Christmas season is the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo’s Holiday Arts and Crafts Show.
The show usually offers a wide variety of eclectic handcrafted gift items and collectibles, cards, prints, woodworking, jewelry and more from local artisans.
